Cream Cheese Wontons

Cream Cheese Wontons

Instruction at a glance; make wonton filling and sauce, then fill wonton with one tbsp and repeat until the finish. Last, fry on medium fire until golden-brown.

Ingredients:

For the wontons:
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 scallions, finely chopped
  • 1 pack wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
For the dipping sauce:
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha (optional seasoning)

Directions:

1First, combine cream cheese, sugar, salt, and scallions to make the filling. Then make the dipping sauce by combining soy sauce, water, honey, sesame oil. If you like spicy, add sriracha. Add suit one’s taste, add more if you want to make spicier.
2Second, take a wonton sheet to fill by filling what you’ve made. Take one tbsp into the wonton, then fold into the triangle. Next, fold two long corners to shape its wonton. Repeat this step until finished.
3Last, pour oil and heat up oil. Ensure you pour much oil to fry wonton. Wait until becomes hot. Then, put wonton into the pan and fry with medium fire. Fry for 2 minutes or until golden brown. After that, move out and drain. Serve into the dish while still hot.
