Chocolate syrup-for brownies/cookies/ice cream

GRANDMA'S CHOCOLATE SAUCE 1 cup sugar 4 tbsp. Cocoa 1/4 tsp salt ½ cup Butter 1/2 cup water (need to moisten and stir ingredients) 2 tsp. vanilla Combine ingredients in heavy saucepan and stir until all moistened. Bring to a boil and boil for one minute. Cool a little and add vanilla. Serve warm over ice cream. For the ultimate, serve ice cream on top of chocolate brownie and top with sauce.
